Technology at its best really brings people together. It can even connect and brew romance between prominent people in various fields nowadays. Here are some of these power tech couples you should start looking up to if you and your partner also dream to be the next big duo in the tech industry soon.

Mark Zuckerberg and Priscilla Chan

Let’s kickoff with the most celebrated couple in the tech world up-to-date: Mark Zuckerberg, CEO and cofounder of Facebook, and his wife Priscilla Chan.

Mark and Priscilla had been exchanging endearments back in their college years. They first met while studying at the prestigious Harvard University in 2003. Their school love affair continued until they decided to tie the knot (in a surprise wedding) a day after Facebook was officially launched to the public in May 2012.

They currently live together with their two beautiful children, Max and August. They also pioneered the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative which focuses on the education and science sectors of various communities.

Dave Morin and Brit Morin

The next big couple in the tech industry that you may start gushing over are Dave Morin and Brit Morin.

Dave formerly worked with Facebook and helped them in establishing Facebook Connect and Facebook Platform. He is also the co-founder of Path and is now investing with VC Firm Offline Ventures. Whereas, his loving partner Brit, founded Brit + Co., a well-known lifestyle media group among millennial women today.

They first met while working with Apple several years ago before they decided to get engaged in 2011. Dave and Brit got married a year after their engagement.

Stewart Butterfield and Jen Rubio

Who would imagine that you can find your lifelong partner with just a Slack Away? 

Well, that’s what happened with Stewart Butterfield, CEO and cofounder of Slack (work messaging platform), and Jen Rubio, CEO of Away (luggage startup company). But their love story didn’t start with  just a simple message.

Their relationship actually remained unnoticed up until the iconic May 2019 proposal of Stewart to Jen through a Twitter post. Although it was only an in-joke to both, the couple still managed to get engaged days after it. They eventually got married last May 2021 and are currently living with their child, Oliver.

Zachary Bogue and Marissa Mayer

Another tech couple that will truly make your heart smile are Zachary Bogue and Marissa Mayer.

Zachary is one of the managing partners and co-founders of DCVC, a venture capital firm. As for Marissa, she was the former CEO of tech giant Yahoo and was Google’s employee number 20. She also co-founded Sunshine Contacts, a software company that produces AI-based apps in the industry.

They started as mutual friends back in 2007 before they got married in 2009. Several years later, Marrisa gave birth to their first offspring the same day that she was announced as Yahoo’s new CEO. In 2015, she again gave birth to their identical twin daughters.

Will Gaybrick and Emily Weiss

When it comes to power tech couples both succeeding in their professional and personal lives, Will Gaybrick and Emily Weiss are just two of those who stand out from the rest in the industry.

Will is currently the Chief Product Officer of the well-known payment platform Stripe which now values more than $95 billion in the US market – considering it as the most valuable startup to date. As for Emily, she’s the CEO and co-founder of Glossier, an online makeup company which is valued at about $1 billion.

Will and Emily made their romantic relationship public through an Instagram post on the first day of 2019. They then announced in another post their engagement last March 2020 which coincided with the World Health Organization’s classification of COVID-19 as a pandemic.

Joshua Kushner and Karlie Kloss

The relationship of Joshua Kushner and Karlie Kloss is also worth following since aside from their success in their own fields, they too are regarded as one of the most beautiful tech couples in the industry today.

Karlie started her career on the runway as an American fashion model and was included in the list of “top 30 models of the 2000s.” She continues to leave her mark among young girls who want to learn the basics of coding through Kode with Klossy tech camps. Meanwhile, Joshua is the founder of Trive Capital, a venture capital firm, and co-founder of Oscar Health, a startup health insurance company.

The couple started dating back in 2012 and got married in an intimate ceremony in 2018. They decided to renew their wedding vows in June 2019. Right now, they’re living together with their son, Levi Joseph.

Evan Spiegel and Miranda Kerr

Talking about beautiful faces, Evan Spiegel and Miranda Kerr will definitely make it on the list of good-looking and successful couples in the tech industry.

Kerr is a popular model who gained fame when she became the first Australian Victoria’s Secret Angel in 2007. She was also regarded as one of the highest-paid models globally at the peak of her modeling career. Today, she manages her own wellness company, the KORA Organics.

On the other hand, Evan also created his name as the CEO and co-founder of Snap Inc. – parent company of the famous Snapchat messaging app. He was also hailed as the world’s youngest billionaire back in 2015. Thus, securing his mark as one of the most successful tech entrepreneurs to date.

Evan and Miranda got married in 2017 and are now living together with their two adorable sons, Hart and Myles.
