Quality Assurance & Business Analyst

Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Quality Assurance & Business Analyst to ensure the quality of software applications while supporting business requirements analysis. This role combines software testing, process analysis, and stakeholder collaboration to ensure business needs are properly translated into effective technical solutions.

Work Setup:– Onsite to Hybrid Setup– Location: Don Antonio, Quezon City

Key Responsibilities

Quality Assurance (QA)
  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Identify, document, and track defects using QA tools.
  • Validate software functionality across different environments and platforms.
  • Ensure applications meet quality standards, best practices, and requirements.
  • Prepare QA documentation such as test results and defect reports.
  • Recommend improvements to enhance system performance and user experience.
Business Analysis (BA)
  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, workflows, and processes.
  • Conduct meetings with stakeholders to understand needs and convert them into specifications.
  • Create user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and BRDs/FSDs.
  • Work closely with developers, QA, and project teams to ensure proper implementation.
  • Support UAT planning, coordination, and execution with stakeholders.
  • Review existing processes and suggest improvements for efficiency and scalability.
  • Act as a bridge between business and technical teams.

Job Requirements

  • Experience as a Quality Assurance Analyst, Business Analyst, or a combined QA/BA role.
  • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, testing tools, and best practices.
  • Good understanding of business analysis techniques and documentation standards.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working with software development teams (Agile/Scrum is a plus).
  • QA or BA certifications are an advantage.
  • Amenable to onsite to hybrid work setup.
  • Can start immediately (ASAP).
