This tool aims to assist users in securing their accounts by regaining access to their login details and addressing any changes made by hackers. Southeast Asia’s finance sector faces serious cybersecurity threats
Research from Tenable has highlighted the cybersecurity threats facing Southeast Asia’s financial sector.
Countries such as Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, and the Philippines are at risk due to over 26,500 internet-facing assets. The study examined the external attack surfaces of more than 90 leading banking, financial services, and insurance (BFSI) organizations by market capitalization.
The study reveals that many financial institutions struggle to address security gaps, increasing their risk exposure. Senior Vice President Nigel Ng emphasized that closing these gaps requires effective exposure management. He stressed the urgency of strong cybersecurity strategies to help organizations secure their vulnerable assets and prevent cyberattacks before they occur.

Microsoft holds a cybersecurity summit following an IT outage caused by CrowdStrike
